The BitQuest is a digital multi-effect pedal featuring the option of using the different effects with a high-gain digital distortion or clean (with expanded control).
The different selectable effects patches are 8 carefully selected and hand-programmed effects that sound cool clean and with distortion.
The 8 effects patches are selectable by the rotary switch (the knob right above the toggle switch).
The different effects patches are as follows:
High Pass & Low Pass Filters
Bit Crusher with Sample Rate Reducer
Octave Pitch Shifter / Harmonizer
Delay (5 ms to 1 second)
The toggle switch chooses between the distorted and clean modes for the effects patches.
Universal controls that are the same for all effects patches are Mix, Volume, and Tone.
The Mix knob blends your dry guitar signal with the effected guitar signal coming from the digital processor.
The Volume knob controls the output of the wet signal only (from unity to loud).
The Tone knob is an analogue active treble EQ that can cut or boost your highs (it is flat at the noon position).
Additionally there are controls labelled CTRL0, CTRL1, and CTRL 2.
These 3 knobs control different functions that are unique to each effects patch, as well as whether you are on clean or distorted mode.
