The HM-3C is recommended for all acoustic instruments and ensemble recording or anywhere natural sound capture is required. The HM-3C is exceptional on piano, banjo, acoustic guitar, mandolin, resophonic guitar and horns.

The HM-3C starts with a 20 mm capsule based on the same design used in our popular HM-1, but the polar pattern is tighter and the frequendy response of the mic is flatter. A high-grade signal path, featuring quality WIMA film capacitors throughout, ensures every sonic detail makes it to your pre-amp.
