Tips:
ATTACK and DECAY work together. If decay time is shorter than attack time, no sweep will happen. If short sweeps cause ‘ripple’ (glitchy sweeps) try turning up DECAY time and turning down SENSE.
RESONANCE turned way up may make VERY LOUD peaks or cause distortion. Use with care.
INTENSE controls both where the filter idles, (with no input, or weak input) AND how high it sweeps. I typically suggest starting with this all the way DOWN.
Use lower INTENSITY and RESONANCE settings along with half BW trigger for subtler effects.
BP setting only allows frequencies between upper and lower filter cut-offs to sweep, where LP only sweeps the high end and HP only sweeps the low end. For Bass, try LP setting.
ENV LED will display the envelope intensity. The brighter it is, the higher the filter frequency.
Many effects (such as distortion or compression) reduce envelope intensity. For best operation this effect needs your clean instrument signal at its input. If you want fuzz or distortion with your filter, put it in the FX LOOP. SEND goes to fuzz input, fuzz out goes to RETURN.
